Beechworth provides Car Groups an ideal geographic location either as a destination base or a “passing through” stopover for organized Car Rally's, club events or small groups of classic car and bike enthusiasts.
Given Beechworths’ close proximity to the Rutherglen, King and Ovens Valley vineyards as well as the challenging NE Victorian Alpine roads, enables Car Group organizers a wide range of options ranging from planning Early Morning Runs to official Rally's with stopovers at selected popular venues within Northern Victoria.
In February 2018, the Armour Motor Inn was selected as the Inaugural Rutherglen Classic Rally's starting venue where we provided the garden space for a combined Breakfast/BBQ for the 40 rally drivers and navigators before heading off to Rutherglen, in addition to providing overnight rooms for 20 rally drivers. More recently, we had the Annual Porsche Enthusiasts Alpine Tour group stay.
We regularly have all manner of car and motorbike clubs choosing to stay with us.
