ABOUT USHistory records indicate our motel is on the site of an old blacksmith shop where part of Ned Kelly's armour was supposedly made. We are in heart of Beechworth where you can explore and discover our town. Our motel has excellent off-street parking at the rear which is quiet and convenient to your suite. Our location is at the pretty Lake Sambell end of Camp Street that heads up towards the old Mayday Hills property, now the home of LaTrobe University’s historic campus…… and we are 100 metres to the award winning tourist attractions of the Beechworth Bakery and Beechworth Sweet Company and 130 metres to the Post Office. Next door is Beechworth’s oldest hotel, the recently refurbished Hotel Nicholas operating daily with meals. For walkers and cycling enthusiasts, we are next to the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail and gateway to wonderful local and regional attractions in Victoria’s Alpine, Winegrowing and North East Valleys areas. For those that want to relax and unwind, massage and pamper packages, food hampers and a range of restaurant-café-winery experiences are on offer and very close to your accommodation. Your friendly hosts are Brenda and Rob Webster who are there for advice and ideas including excellent mid week and weekend accommodation packages, plus some other options. We hope you can come and stay soon as an individual, a couple, a family or a group and enjoy the experience of what Victoria’s best preserved gold town has to offer. Location | Rates | Booking Enquiry Great place to stay on a regular basis. Excellent rooms and friendly service. Robert & Brenda are great hosts.
