Indigo Vineyard Beechworth

When you visit Beechworth and stay at the Armour Motor Inn, take some time out to visit the Indigo Vineyard located just 8 minutes from town on the Wangaratta Road.

Indigo Vineyard will collect you from and return you to the Armour Motor Inn should you wish to make a visit.

At Indigo they believe they do things differently. You will be welcomed at the Cellar door with a special structured tasting of their pure Beechworth Wines including a special aged release wine from the cellar. You sit down with a set of Riedel glasses, tasting notes and a complimentary vineyard food plate.

After your Cellar Door visit, you will be taken for a private tour of their beautiful property. From the road you only see a little Homestead Vineyard block. The property extends 3 ½kms from the front gate to the back. You will meander along Hodgsons Creek up to the real Vineyard located 3kms into the hills.

The 46 hectare Indigo Vineyard is planted to 11 different varieties of grapes. The whites are Chardonnay, Viognier, Roussanne and Pinot Gris. The Reds are Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Sangiovese, Nebbiolo and Shiraz planted with the cuttings from outstanding vineyards including the Brokenwood Graveyard, the Rayner Vineyard and Seville Estate Old Vine.
